Open Mic Rules

The Cozmic Café is proud to host Thursday Open Mic Night. 
The quality of this long-standing tradition relies 
on your professionalism. 

Sign-ups for performers start at 7:30 p.m.
Performance begins at 8 p.m.

We recommend performers show up early 
to ensure a spot on the list. 

By signing-up as a performer, you agree with  the rules below.

In order to assure an enjoyable evening for everyone, we ask that you follow the these rules:

1. No profanity or inappropriate lyrical content. This is a family event.

2. Acts may be solo or small group.

3. Stage time is 8 min/2 songs. If time permits, the host may extend your performance to an additional song. (Excessive time spent on set-up/tear-down may cut short your performance.)

4. P.A. levels are set by the host. If you have special equipment needs, please let us know in advance. Mics are available for non-amplified instruments. Excessively loud performances may be cut short.

5. No jumping or stomping.. The building is 150 years old -- please respect it.

6. Performance order is determined by the order in which people sign up.

The Cozmic Café reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Those dressed inappropriately or using profanity will be asked to leave.
